Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko plans to visit Georgia in H1 2018. The head of state made the statement as he met with Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze on 20 November, BelTA has learned.
The head of state emphasized that the visit of the Georgian MPs is part of the series of recent meetings with the representatives of Georgia. Of course these meetings are focused on the preparations for the official visit of the Belarusian head of state to Georgia in H1 2018.

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission arrived in Belarus on 26 October, BelTA learnt from the IMF office in Minsk.
The IMF mission led by Peter Dohlman will be working in Belarus from 26 October to 10 November. According to the IMF office in Minsk, the IMF experts are in Belarus to conduct annual consultations under Article IV.
The IMF deployed its previous mission to Minsk for the period of 5-12 June to discuss with the Belarusian government bodies the country's economic situation, cooperation issues and the preparations for the annual consultations under Article IV.
